Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TokenCost ("Service"), operated by OLIVIAJ LLC ("Company", "we", "us"), a Florida limited liability company based in Weston, Florida.

By accessing or using TokenCost at gettokencost.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

TokenCost is a cost monitoring dashboard that connects to third-party AI provider billing APIs (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) using read-only Admin API Keys provided by you. The Service retrieves, normalizes, and displays your usage and cost data across providers.

TokenCost does not call AI models, generate tokens, or incur charges on your AI provider accounts. We only read billing and usage data.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

When you create an account, an organization is automatically created for you. You are the owner of that organization and are responsible for all activity within it.

3. API Keys

You provide Admin API Keys from your AI providers to enable the Service. You acknowledge that:

  • You are authorized to create and share these Admin API Keys for use with third-party services.
  • Admin API Keys may have organizational management permissions beyond read-only billing access. TokenCost only uses these keys to call usage and cost reporting endpoints.
  • Your API Keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. We do not store keys in plaintext.
  • You can revoke your API Keys at any time through your AI provider's dashboard, which will disconnect TokenCost from that provider.
  • We are not responsible for any unauthorized use of your API Keys that occurs outside of our Service.

4. Billing and Payments

TokenCost offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees.

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months of service.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice via email.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to monitor accounts you do not own or have authorization to monitor.
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties.
  • Abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as described therein.

You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service, including API Keys and usage data retrieved from your AI providers.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

We are not responsible for outages or data unavailability caused by third-party AI providers' APIs.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OLIVIAJ LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.

Upon termination, your data (including encrypted API Keys and usage records) will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
